Layers of San José.
Layers of San José is an evolving community sculpture initiated in 2025 and installed at Open San José in downtown San José. Built from the geometric letter forms “SJ,” the project invites public participation through collage, writing, and layering of materials that collectively reflect the memory and identity of the city.
