Tape Tomb — Works/San José Community Art Auction

My sculpture Tape Tomb is part of the Works/San José Community Art Auction, opening during South First Friday ArtWalk in downtown San José.

Support Works/San José — an all-volunteer community art space — by placing a bid on one of nearly 100 artworks by regional artists. The exhibition offers a broad snapshot of the Bay Area’s visual arts community while serving as an important fundraiser that helps sustain this vital grassroots venue and its community arts programming.

Created from reclaimed cassette tapes, Tape Tomb transforms obsolete analog media into a compact sculptural artifact that honors music culture, personal memory, and material reuse. The piece reimagines discarded objects as a vibrant, hand-built monument — blending nostalgia, sustainability, and contemporary design into a highly collectible work.
